Amazon is seeking a Program Manager for their Sub Same-Day network expansion in Japan. You'll lead initiatives to improve fulfillment centers and last-mile delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in managing complex logistics projects.
You have a successful track record of managing complex network expansion projects in logistics or related fields — you've navigated the intricacies of supply chain management and understand the nuances of last-mile delivery. Your strong analytical and business acumen enable you to make data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You excel in influencing stakeholders without direct authority, ensuring that initiatives are executed swiftly and effectively. Your experience in program management equips you with the skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact customer delivery speed and reliability.
Experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus, as is familiarity with fulfillment center operations and supply chain logistics. A background in technology integration within logistics will set you apart, allowing you to leverage innovative solutions to optimize processes.
In this role, you will manage initiatives related to new integrations at SSD sites, driving scalable improvements across fulfillment centers and last-mile delivery. You will lead programs that strategically grow Amazon's Sub Same-Day delivery capabilities, ensuring best-in-class speed and coverage. Your responsibilities will include robust planning processes and data-driven decision-making to create a positive impact on Amazon's SSD offerings in Japan. You will partner closely with multiple functional teams, including Supply Chain, Real Estate, Tech teams, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and execution of strategic goals. You will be tasked with solving complex operational challenges and optimizing network topology to enhance customer experience. Your ability to execute with speed and influence without authority will be critical to your success in this role.
