Axon is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Finance team in Europe. You'll play a critical role in the month-end close process and financial reporting. This position requires a strong background in revenue accounting.
You are a highly motivated professional with a strong background in revenue accounting and financial reporting. With experience in performing monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger activities, you understand the importance of accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and HGB standards. In this role, you will perform the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger and financial statement closing activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and HGB. You will support the standard cost accounting process, including accounting and analysis of typical variances. Your contributions will stabilize the finance function while supporting the global consolidation and financial reporting process. You will collaborate closely with the Financial Controller and other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
You will take ownership of specific accounting tasks and drive improvements in processes and efficiencies. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying discrepancies and proposing solutions to enhance the accuracy of financial data. You will also participate in audits and assist in preparing documentation as needed. Your role will involve continuous communication with various departments to ensure alignment and understanding of financial objectives.
