Weld Support Technician - Split Shift Night

Who you are

You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 2 years of experience working with hand tools, band saws, or torches. You possess the skills necessary to complete welding requirements and operational needs effectively. Your experience includes analyzing engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of cut parts, and you are committed to improving operations and streamlining work processes. You are a team player who works cooperatively with leaders to complete assignments and solve problems.

What you'll do

As a Weld Support Technician, you will be responsible for executing the activities of the weld support team, which includes plasma table programming, operating band saws and chop saws, and manually drilling and milling materials. You will analyze engineering drawings to ensure accuracy in your work and maintain any required licenses or certifications. Your role will involve making continuous efforts to improve operations and decrease turnaround times while collaborating with your team to meet deadlines and review issues for consistent improvement. You will also perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
