You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Your expertise includes contributing to and evolving design systems at scale, ensuring consistency and usability across products. You are comfortable collaborating with globally distributed teams, understanding the nuances of remote communication and teamwork. You have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and are skilled in translating complex technical constraints into clear, user-friendly interfaces. You thrive in environments where you can operate across different levels, from high-level system thinking to detailed execution. You are passionate about improving developer productivity and enhancing user interactions with data tools.

Desirable

Experience with data-driven applications or tools is a plus, as is familiarity with Agile methodologies. You may have worked in environments that prioritize collaboration between design, engineering, and product management, allowing you to understand the full product lifecycle. What you'll do

As a Senior Product Designer at Astronomer, you will own the design for one or more core product areas from early problem framing and discovery through to detailed execution and iteration in production. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to understand user needs and technical constraints, ensuring that your designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and effective. Your role will involve conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and iterating on designs based on user feedback. You will also contribute to the development of design systems, ensuring that your work aligns with the overall vision and goals of the product. Your designs will have a direct impact on customer adoption and developer productivity, making your contributions highly visible within the organization.
