Coupang is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee food compliance and quality assurance for their private label brands. You'll ensure adherence to regulatory standards and collaborate with various stakeholders. This role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in product compliance.
You have a bachelor's degree in a science or engineering-related field and at least 3 years of experience in product compliance and quality program management. You possess a solid understanding of product compliance and quality requirements in the consumer goods industry. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you have excellent documentation and communication skills. You can work effectively with both technical and non-technical professionals in cross-functional teams. You are practical and can complete tasks on time while demonstrating a strong willingness to learn. Your creative thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.
In this role, you will support the establishment and management of policies to meet quality and regulatory compliance requirements for food categories. You will lead compliance activities related to MFDS for food category products, ensuring adherence to Korean food safety standards through regulatory reviews, certification coordination, and documentation. You will actively engage with stakeholders within Coupang to coordinate compliance requirements and execute activities. Monitoring regulatory trends and reporting to senior management will be part of your responsibilities, along with updating onboarding QC checklists. You will prepare compliance and quality performance reports to develop better procedures and organize regular training, workshops, and seminars on the latest compliance requirements. Additionally, you will collect data for compliance improvements on products sold, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective/preventive actions and other processes.
