Overview

Cohere is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage the full sales cycle in the public sector. You'll engage with Global 2000 enterprises to develop tailored value propositions. This role requires strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the public sector, and possess the ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to connect with prospects and understand their unique needs. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with teams across customer success, sales development, marketing, and solution architecture to drive growth. You are adaptable and can develop tailored value propositions that resonate with large enterprises, ensuring that you effectively articulate how Cohere's platform can help them achieve their business goals.

Desirable

Experience in AI or technology sales is a plus, as it will enable you to better understand the nuances of our offerings and how they can benefit potential clients. A background in working with Global 2000 companies will also be advantageous, as you will be engaging with high-level stakeholders and decision-makers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of your territory, identifying leads and nurturing relationships with prospects to uncover their needs. You will be responsible for developing and delivering compelling presentations that showcase the value of Cohere's AI platform. Your role will involve collaborating with various internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into the product roadmap, helping to prioritize features that align with market demands. You will also track your sales metrics and report on your progress, ensuring that you meet or exceed your targets. As the voice of the field, you will provide insights to the product and engineering teams, helping to shape the future of our offerings based on customer-centric feedback.
