D2L is seeking an Entry-Level Software Developer for a Spring 2026 Co-op position in their Kitchener office. You'll be part of a team modernizing education through innovative software solutions. This role is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in software development.

Who you are

You are a motivated student eager to gain practical experience in software development. You are currently enrolled in a relevant program and are looking for an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting. You possess a foundational understanding of programming concepts and are excited to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. You are adaptable and open to feedback, ready to contribute to a team that is dedicated to transforming education.

Desirable

Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with cloud technologies or educational software can enhance your application. What you'll do

As a Software Developer Co-op at D2L, you will work alongside experienced developers to contribute to the design and implementation of innovative software solutions. You will assist in developing features for our learning platform, ensuring that they meet the needs of our users. You will participate in code reviews, collaborate with team members on projects, and gain exposure to various stages of the software development lifecycle. Your role will involve troubleshooting and debugging issues, allowing you to enhance your problem-solving skills while learning best practices in software development.
