SpaceX is seeking a Consumer Sales Operations Lead for their Starlink division to manage relationships with retailers and distributors. You'll be responsible for revenue growth and operational efficiency. This role requires a background in consulting or project management.
You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or business, or a high school diploma with at least 2 years of professional experience. You bring 2+ years of consulting or project management experience, or experience in a customer-facing role. Your background in retail or distribution is a plus, as you understand the nuances of managing relationships in this sector.
As the Consumer Sales Operations Lead, you will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of retailers and distributors. Your role involves building long-term relationships to ensure retention and revenue growth. You will deliver impeccable service to distributors and retailers, efficiently acknowledging and resolving issues as they arise. Collaborating closely with various teams, including production planning, sales, and logistics, you will manage orders, delivery timelines, invoices, and payments. You will take ownership of assigned distributors and retailers, ensuring that forecasted revenue is realized on or ahead of schedule while identifying and aligning on payment schedules and risks. Additionally, you will lead the implementation of process and system enhancements to improve operations across cross-functional teams, evolving the retail channel operations to scale the business effectively.
