Desirable

Experience working with sports teams or in a sports-related environment is a plus, as it gives you unique insights into the challenges faced by athletes and coaches. Familiarity with tools that support Agile practices, such as Jira or Confluence, will enhance your ability to drive efficiency within your teams. A certification in Scrum or Agile coaching will further validate your expertise and commitment to the role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Scrum Master at Hudl, you will play a pivotal role in supporting elite North American sports teams by facilitating Agile practices within your teams. You will coach your teams to make outcome-focused decisions, guiding them through the complexities of project management while ensuring they remain aligned with company goals. Your responsibilities will include navigating risks and dependencies, anticipating technical collisions, and adjusting plans as necessary to maintain momentum. You will also be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging your teams to reflect on their processes and outcomes regularly.

You will collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure that the teams are focused on delivering high-quality products that meet user needs. Your role will involve facilitating Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring that these meetings are productive and focused on actionable outcomes. You will also be responsible for tracking team progress and performance metrics, using this data to inform decision-making and drive improvements.

In addition to your coaching responsibilities, you will be an advocate for Agile practices within the organization, helping to promote a culture of agility and responsiveness. You will work with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to share best practices and continuously enhance the Agile framework within Hudl. Your leadership will help shape the future of how teams operate, ensuring they are equipped to meet the demands of the fast-paced sports industry.
