Tide is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help transform the small business banking market. You'll work on designing and creating connected administrative solutions for SMEs. This role requires significant backend engineering experience.
You have a strong background in backend engineering, with a focus on building scalable and reliable systems that support business operations. Your experience includes working with various technologies and frameworks that enhance the functionality of banking services. You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and are passionate about creating solutions that save time and money for small businesses.
You thrive in collaborative environments, where you can contribute to team discussions and influence technical decisions. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, allows you to align engineering practices with business goals. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends to ensure that your skills remain relevant.
Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture would be a plus, as well as familiarity with agile methodologies. You may have worked in fintech or similar industries, giving you insights into the unique challenges faced by small and medium enterprises in the banking sector.
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Tide, you will take ownership of engineering practices that shape the future of our Global One Platform.
