Overview

Xometry is seeking a Lead Technical Account Manager to oversee a team of Technical Account Managers and ensure enterprise customers maximize their use of Xometry's platform. This role requires strong leadership and technical consulting skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in sales engineering or technical account management, ideally with a focus on enterprise customers. Your background includes leading teams and fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer satisfaction. You understand the importance of post-sale technical ownership and have a proven track record of guiding teams in onboarding and solution architecture. You are adept at translating complex technical needs into actionable strategies that drive customer success and revenue growth.

You possess strong mentoring and coaching skills, enabling you to develop your team effectively. You thrive in environments where you can lead by example, demonstrating proactive problem-solving and deep technical knowledge. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to build strong relationships with both your team and key enterprise clients. You are passionate about ensuring that customers achieve maximum value from the solutions provided.

Desirable

Experience in a manufacturing or technology-focused environment is a plus. Familiarity with digital marketplaces and enterprise software solutions will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have a strategic mindset that aligns with business objectives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Technical Account Managers, focusing on their growth and success. You will be responsible for ensuring that your team provides exceptional technical consulting and support to enterprise customers post-sale. This includes overseeing the onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration of Xometry's platform, and maximizing customer adoption.

You will guide your team in understanding customer technical needs and translating them into successful outcomes. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of proactive problem-solving and technical depth, ensuring that your team is equipped to handle complex customer inquiries and challenges.

You will also play a key role in maintaining and expanding relationships with key enterprise accounts, acting as the primary technical liaison. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential in driving customer satisfaction and retention.
