Job Description

Amazon's Japan Consumer Innovation (JCI) Retail Efficiency, Scaling, and Tech (REST) Team is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to contribute to our mission of developing selling partner capabilities through quality support solutions. The role involves owning strategy, roadmap, and promotion of new educational services and programs to empower selling partners on Amazon to thrive. As a key strategic leader, you will assume end-to-end ownership of our partner education products & programs, defining the long-term vision, addressing complex needs to enhance satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through these educational offerings while collaborating with both local and global business teams.

You will bring together advanced product management expertise, empirical data, social engagement, and technology while developing comprehensive strategies for Amazon educational programs that increase selling partner capabilities. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, a proven ability to cultivate strong partnerships, and the capacity to provide strategic consultation to influence multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, conducting competitive analysis, and driving product development from conception to launch.

It's a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to senior leaders and JP/WW Retail teams across Amazon while shaping the future of our educational platform. You should be a thought leader who is comfortable presenting complex strategies to all levels of leadership and adept at translating vision into actionable plans. Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute content that enhances selling partner capabilities
- Own end-to-end product/program lifecycle from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with legal and compliance requirements
- Define and execute strategic roadmap balancing business objectives with selling partner needs
- Analyze selling partner data and feedback to identify business opportunities
- Drive selling partner engagement through pilot programs and targeted outreach to accelerate adoption of new solutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to secure support and drive adoption
- Establish clear goals and analyze key metrics to demonstrate business impact and guide improvements

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Fluent in Japanese and English (both written and spoken)- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, QlikView, QuickSight
