NICE is hiring a Specialist Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of user-facing features using React. You'll work closely with the Software Architect and mentor junior engineers. This role requires 8+ years of experience in front-end development.
You have over 8 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in front-end development, and possess a strong understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. You are skilled in developing user-facing features using React.js and have a proven track record of producing high-quality, well-tested code. Your experience includes translating designs and wireframes into functional code, and you are adept at optimizing components for performance across various devices and browsers. You are also comfortable collaborating with product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. As a mentor, you enjoy guiding junior engineers and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Experience with additional front-end frameworks or libraries is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You thrive in environments that challenge your limits and are eager to contribute to innovative projects that make a significant impact.
In this role, you will lead the day-to-day design and implementation tasks for the product, ensuring that all technical implementations meet design specifications for functionality and quality. You will collaborate closely with the Software Architect to define design specifications and guidelines, serving as a technical lead for your team. Your responsibilities will include developing new user-facing features using React.js, building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use, and optimizing components for maximum performance across a wide array of web-capable devices and browsers. You will also engage in design discussions, mentoring sessions, and technology reviews, dedicating a significant portion of your time to producing high-quality code.
