Google is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager for their Data Center Security team in Querétaro. You'll manage security operations, develop innovative security strategies, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role requires expertise in security technologies and risk management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors. Your background includes coordinating or managing resources for data center locations, and leading operational or project-based work and tasks. You possess experience with security technologies, including CCTV, access control, incident management systems, and security operations centers. Your knowledge extends to physical security, investigations, compliance, and risk management, making you a well-rounded candidate for this role. Familiarity with Google applications is a plus, as you understand the importance of integrating security into the design and development process.
You are an expert in your field, sharing Google's commitment to security and confidentiality. You believe that effective security can coexist with excellent customer service, and you are ready to collaborate with the Facilities Management team to create innovative security strategies. Your experience includes conducting vulnerability and risk assessments, implementing compliance processes aligned with policies and legal requirements, and managing security-related costs through budget and forecasting.
An MBA or Master's degree would enhance your candidacy, as would additional certifications in security management or risk assessment. Your ability to navigate complex security challenges and develop comprehensive risk assessment plans will set you apart.
In this role, you will lead the Data Center Compliance, Safety, and Risk Management (CSRM) team, which is dedicated to protecting the people and assets of Google’s global critical infrastructure. You will leverage advanced security systems and a dedicated guarding team to support the entirety of Google Data Centers. Your responsibilities will include creating innovative security strategies, investigating breaches, and developing risk assessment plans for the future. You will also manage the security-related costs through budget, forecasting, and invoice control for the assigned campus, assisting management with financial analysis and input to financial decisions for security requirements.
You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that security measures are effectively integrated into all aspects of operations. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest security technologies and compliance regulations, ensuring that Google remains at the forefront of security practices. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
