Intercom is seeking a Staff Product Engineer to join their AI Group and build AI-powered products. You'll collaborate with ML Scientists and product teams, utilizing skills in Machine Learning and Python. This role is based in Berlin.
You have a strong background in product engineering with a focus on AI and Machine Learning — you understand the intricacies of building AI-powered products and have experience working closely with both ML Scientists and product teams. You possess deep knowledge of our product and customer needs, and you are familiar with the ML tech stack that supports our initiatives. Your ability to define new ML features and research appropriate algorithms is complemented by your hands-on experience in rapidly prototyping solutions that meet customer demands. You thrive in a product-focused environment and are passionate about delivering value through technology.
Experience with customer service technologies or AI applications is a plus — you have a keen interest in how AI can transform customer experiences and are eager to contribute to innovative solutions that enhance service delivery.
As a Staff Product Engineer in the AI Group, you will be responsible for building and enhancing Intercom’s AI-powered products. You will work closely with ML Scientists to define new features and research algorithms that can be integrated into our products. Your role will involve rapidly developing prototypes and getting them into the hands of customers for feedback. You will collaborate with product and design teams to ensure that the solutions you develop align with user needs and business goals. You will also be involved in the deployment of these solutions, ensuring they are production-ready and meet the high standards expected by our users.
