Overview

Tenable is seeking a Sales Development Representative to support a remote sales team by generating new business opportunities through inbound and outbound calls. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage sales inquiries effectively.

Who you are

You are a motivated individual eager to kickstart your career in sales. You possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable making outbound calls to generate new business opportunities. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to work with a remote sales team to drive results. You understand the importance of lead qualification and are ready to follow up on inbound inquiries to create a robust sales pipeline. You are detail-oriented and can manage and update contact databases effectively, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date. You are driven by targets and enjoy the challenge of making 50+ calls per day to connect with potential clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the sales team by generating new business opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling. You will be responsible for qualifying leads and scheduling meetings and demos for the Territory Managers. Your day-to-day tasks will include performing outbound calls to potential clients, following up on inbound sales inquiries, and promoting Tenable events and webinars to your region. You will also conduct research on target accounts to enhance your outbound call campaigns, ensuring that you are well-prepared for each interaction. Additionally, you will manage and update the company’s contact and account databases, keeping track of your outreach efforts and results. Your contributions will be vital in helping the sales team achieve their goals and drive the company’s growth.
