Overview

Amazon is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment. You'll work with automated packaging and distribution equipment in Memphis, Tennessee.

Who you are

You are a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician with a strong foundation in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You have experience with automated systems and are eager to develop your skills further while mentoring junior technicians. Your background includes knowledge of robotics and mechanical engineering principles, allowing you to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with the Operations Maintenance team to ensure the reliability of equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety make you an ideal candidate for this role. You understand the importance of continuous improvement and are motivated to contribute to the efficiency of Amazon's operations.

Desirable

Experience with pneumatic systems and automated packaging equipment is a plus. Familiarity with safety protocols and maintenance best practices will help you excel in this position. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies will be essential as you grow in your role.

What you'll do

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various automated systems and material handling equipment throughout the facility. You will work hands-on with robotics and ensure that all equipment operates efficiently to meet the demands of Amazon's operations. Your role will involve diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures.

You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. This collaborative environment will allow you to contribute to team success while enhancing your own skills. You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions to optimize equipment performance.
