Temporary Payroll Tax Accountant

Who you are

You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to audit and reconcile payroll tax filings accurately. You understand the importance of compliance and confidentiality in handling payroll tax matters. You value diversity and are open to collaborating with individuals from various backgrounds and experiences.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for auditing and reconciling approximately 200 federal, state, and local payroll tax filings for five U.S. entities from CY2020 to present. You will ensure accuracy and compliance in all payroll tax submissions. You will research any variances identified, resolve tax notices, and file amendments directly with the relevant agencies. Your work will contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the payroll tax process at Angi.
