Desirable

Experience with commercial real estate transactions and a strong network within the industry would be beneficial. Familiarity with GSE Guides and servicing agreements is a plus. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and have a track record of successfully managing multiple transactions simultaneously.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the underwriting of various Borrower consents within Berkadia's Servicing portfolio. You will personally handle or supervise the underwriting of high-profile transactions, ensuring that all processes are conducted in strict accordance with loan documentation and internal guidelines. You will maintain a pipeline of approximately 25–35 transactions, ensuring that all deals progress efficiently. Your role will involve continuous communication with Berkadia Mortgage Bankers and other concerned parties regarding the status of underwriting and approval processes. You will also be tasked with ensuring that Lenders' and Investors' credit standards are upheld, and that identified risks are properly mitigated throughout the underwriting process.
