Google is seeking an Account Strategist for their Engage team to drive client growth through effective advertising solutions. You'll leverage your knowledge of Google Ads and digital marketing strategies to build trusted relationships with clients in Tokyo.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 2 years of experience in business, advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, digital ads, media, or a similar field. You are fluent in both English and Japanese, enabling you to effectively communicate in this customer-facing role. Your experience includes working with advertisers, agencies, or clients, and you have a proven ability to influence C-level stakeholders. You possess a strong background in advertising sales, media account management, and achieving goals that drive client growth. Your expertise extends to consulting, entrepreneurship, or digital marketing, where you have executed multi-quarter strategies. You have a solid understanding of Google Ads and traditional and online marketing strategies, allowing you to strategically assess and solve client needs through effective sales techniques, including questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling. You are adept at leveraging data to uncover insights that support proposals and analyze impact.
In this role, you will be responsible for building trusted relationships with customers, uncovering their business needs, and translating them into powerful solutions to achieve their most ambitious goals. You will identify key customer stakeholders, including C-level executives and business owners, to support customer business objectives and annual digital marketing plans. Your responsibilities will include conducting outbound calls to establish relationships and working with existing Google Ads customers to generate growth and improve customer success. You will assess and solve customer needs using various techniques, ensuring that you deliver extraordinary and incremental outcomes for both Google and your customers. You will act like an owner, moving with velocity through change and finding innovative and strategic ways to maximize customer success.
