Carvana is seeking a Brake and Tire Auto Technician to perform light maintenance and repairs on vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and offers competitive wages and benefits.
You have at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. As a Brake & Tire Technician, you are comfortable performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You possess a basic understanding of mechanical repairs for brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. You are detail-oriented and take pride in ensuring that vehicles are safe and ready for customers. You are also open to learning and growing your skills through training programs offered by Carvana.
Experience with state-of-the-art tools and technology in automotive repair is a plus. You are a team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality service. You understand the importance of following safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring that they meet safety standards. You will change brake pads, calipers, and rotors, as well as install tires and perform wheel alignments. You will work in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing advanced tools to carry out your tasks efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs that will help you advance your skills and career within the company. As you gain experience, you may take on additional responsibilities and work on more complex repairs.
