Manager, Software Engineering (Platform Reports)

Who you are

You have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions. Your experience includes managing the end-to-end lifecycle of software development, from ideation to deployment. You understand the importance of data in driving business decisions and have a passion for leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency. You are an excellent communicator, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) space is a plus, as is familiarity with data visualization tools and reporting frameworks. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are adaptable to changing priorities. A background in software engineering or a related field will help you succeed in this role.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Platform Reports team, you will lead a group of talented engineers in building and maintaining the core platform that enables users to create custom reports and dashboards. You will oversee the entire report lifecycle, ensuring that data is fetched, transformed, and visualized effectively. Your leadership will help drive the team's mission to empower customers with actionable insights derived from their data.

You will work closely with product teams to provide a unified integration point for data reporting, acting as a critical accelerator for their initiatives. Your role will involve mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. You will also be responsible for setting technical direction and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development process.
