You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in distributed systems, where you've designed and implemented scalable solutions that handle massive data volumes. Your expertise in Golang is complemented by a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform, which you've used to deploy and manage applications effectively.

You are proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes, and understand how to leverage these tools to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services. Your experience with gRPC for internal communication showcases your ability to work with modern protocols that enhance performance and reliability.

Your background includes working with C and C++ for performance-critical components, demonstrating your versatility in programming languages and your ability to choose the right tool for the job. What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Mixpanel, you will be responsible for enhancing the capabilities of our distributed database, which processes over 1 trillion events monthly. You will work on optimizing the ingestion and querying processes to ensure low latency and high availability for our analytics platform.

You will collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features that meet the growing demands of our customer base. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving complex issues within the distributed systems, ensuring that our infrastructure remains robust and reliable.

You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for software engineering within the team.
