Job Description

Who you are

You have experience in account management and understand the intricacies of vendor relationships — you thrive in environments where you can develop and implement business strategies that drive growth. You possess strong negotiation skills and can engage effectively with various internal teams to ensure vendor success. You are detail-oriented and have high standards, operating as a business owner to achieve results through collaboration and strategic thinking.

You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can adapt your strategies based on evolving business needs — your ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions is key to your success. You understand the importance of delivering a positive experience for sellers and are committed to fostering strong partnerships that benefit both Amazon and its vendors.

Desirable

Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is a plus, as is familiarity with data analysis tools that can help you track vendor performance and identify growth opportunities. A background in sales or business development can also enhance your ability to drive results in this role.

What you'll do

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of vendor partners, ensuring their growth and success on the Amazon platform. You will engage directly with vendors to understand their needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions that align with Amazon's business objectives. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies that drive performance and enhance the vendor experience.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product management, to create initiatives that support vendor growth. This may include negotiating terms, optimizing product listings, and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities. You will also be responsible for monitoring vendor performance metrics and providing feedback to help them improve their operations on the platform.

In addition to managing vendor relationships, you will participate in strategic planning sessions to align vendor goals with Amazon's overall business strategy. Your insights and recommendations will be crucial in shaping the direction of the Vendor Success Program and ensuring that it meets the needs of both Amazon and its partners.

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will have the chance to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry and contribute to a company that is constantly evolving and improving the e-commerce experience for customers and sellers alike. Join us in our mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company.
