Overview

Samsara is seeking a Senior Manager for their Digital Renewals team to oversee commercial renewals and drive customer growth and retention. This role requires strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in customer success and renewals, ideally within a technology or SaaS environment. Your leadership skills are proven, as you've successfully managed teams and driven customer engagement strategies that enhance retention and growth. You understand the nuances of digital renewals and have a track record of optimizing processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. You are a strategic thinker who can design and implement effective renewal strategies that align with business goals. Your ability to collaborate cross-functionally is key, as you will work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. You are data-driven, using analytics to inform decisions and measure success.

Desirable

Experience in the IoT sector or related industries would be a plus, as would familiarity with sales-assisted and self-service renewal models. You are comfortable with technology and can quickly adapt to new tools and platforms that enhance customer interactions. A background in project management or operations can also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of Samsara's Digital Renewals function, overseeing all aspects of commercial renewals. You will lead a high-performing team of managers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel. Your focus will be on driving customer growth, efficiency, and retention at scale. You will design and implement strategies that enhance the renewal process, making it more customer-friendly and efficient. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that all departments are aligned in their approach to customer success. You will analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, using these insights to refine your strategies. Regularly reporting on renewal metrics and team performance will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring transparency and accountability within the team.
