Flexport is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to transform data from client-facing services into actionable insights. You'll work with SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to drive client conversion and improve product offerings.
You have 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, with a strong background in transforming complex data into actionable insights. You are proficient in SQL and have experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, enabling you to create impactful dashboards and reports. You are comfortable collaborating with engineering, business, and product stakeholders, diving deep into existing data to identify opportunities for improvement. You understand pricing strategies and can help define new data requirements to drive pricing elasticity decisions. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to interpret data trends and communicate findings effectively to various audiences.
Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus, as is familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools. Knowledge of statistical analysis and experience with A/B testing methodologies would enhance your ability to provide insights that drive business decisions. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities.
In this role, you will meet with customers to understand their needs and gather requirements for data-driven insights. You will analyze data from Flexport's client-facing services and pricing products, identifying trends and patterns that can inform product improvements. You will build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into service capabilities and pricing strategies, helping to drive client conversion and satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to ensure that data solutions align with business objectives. You will also participate in defining new data requirements and processes, ensuring that the data collected is relevant and actionable. Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping Flexport's offerings and enhancing the customer experience.
