You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and are willing to engage with various community and city providers to advocate for underserved populations. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to educate clients about health services and harm reduction strategies effectively.

What you'll do

As a Health Access Navigator at GLIDE, you will play a crucial role in connecting individuals with essential health services and resources. You will provide harm reduction supplies and proactive counseling to clients with a history of substance use. Your responsibilities will include offering health education and information, facilitating referrals, and ensuring clients have access to the support they need to overcome barriers to care. You will work closely with the Syringe Access Services team to deliver comprehensive health services and engage clients in recovery and health improvement activities. Your role will involve advocating for clients and collaborating with community partners to enhance the overall wellness of the community.
