Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience with networking, network architecture, networking protocols, and software architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a Technology or Business related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will be responsible for charting Google's path for winning market share in the very exciting and evolving network connectivity space. You will define the product goal, strategy, and roadmap for our capital markets portfolio. You will collaborate with executive stakeholders to align product plans with business goals and market opportunities. You will continuously assess market trends, customer needs, and engaged landscape.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Drive the end-to-end product development process, including ideation, requirements gathering, prioritization, and execution. Work closely with Engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and use cases in the data transfer portfolio. Conduct market research, engaged analysis, and customer interviews to gather insights. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature enhancements. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Capacity and Support, to ensure seamless coordination and successful product delivery. 
  • Define and track key product metrics and success criteria. Analyze product performance, customer usage patterns, and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvements and optimizations.
