Figure is seeking a Senior Manager, Communications to lead media relations and internal communications. You'll work closely with spokespeople and marketing teams to tell Figure's story across various platforms. This role requires strong communication skills and experience in media relations.
You are an experienced communications professional with a proven track record in media relations and internal communications. You have a knack for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, from business media to internal stakeholders. Your ability to pitch stories and engage with reporters is complemented by your skills in creating engaging content for social media and other platforms. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with spokespeople and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels. You are proactive in identifying emerging media opportunities and are comfortable navigating the fast-paced world of fintech and blockchain.
In this role, you will lead proactive media relations efforts that support Figure's mission and initiatives. You will work with agency partners to coordinate announcements and cultivate relationships with top-tier reporters in business, fintech, and personal finance. Your responsibilities will include generating compelling story ideas and collaborating cross-functionally to activate these narratives. You will also support internal communications, ensuring that employees are informed and engaged with the company's vision and goals.
