Overview

Verkada is seeking an Account Executive for their Mid-Market East SLED Team to drive new business within state and local government agencies and educational institutions. This role requires strong sales skills and a commitment to in-office work in San Mateo, CA.

You are a motivated and results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in generating new business. You understand the importance of building relationships and have experience working with state and local government agencies, as well as educational institutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a world-class sales organization. You are committed to being present in the office five days a week, fostering a thriving in-office culture.

What you'll do

In this role, you will source and close new business opportunities, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas. You will build an intimate understanding of Verkada's products and their place in the industry, allowing you to effectively communicate their value to potential clients. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
