You have at least 1 year of professional work experience and possess clear written and verbal communication skills. Your excellent organization skills allow you to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. You are a self-motivated individual with a history of meeting goals, motivated by purpose and winning with a team-first attitude. You demonstrate genuine curiosity in the Cloud, big data, and ML/AI space, which aligns with Databricks' mission. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but your drive and discipline are what truly set you apart.
As a Sales Development Representative at Databricks, you will manage a high volume of inbound leads, employing a strategy to prioritize them effectively. You will research and understand the needs of various lines of business and target personas, identifying technical pain points in prospects' current Data and AI solutions. Your role will involve connecting these pain points to the value of the Databricks platform, with the goal of scheduling discovery calls. You will learn to anticipate and overcome objections, building credibility and trust with partners. Adaptability and flexibility will be key as you navigate the ever-growing sales organization, contributing to its success.
