Carvana is seeking a Brake and Tire Auto Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles. You'll be responsible for changing brakes and tires, as well as conducting routine inspections. This role requires at least 1 year of automotive repair experience.
You have a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. As a Brake & Tire Technician, you are comfortable performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You possess a basic understanding of mechanical repairs for brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. You are ready to work with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center and are open to training programs that will help you grow your skills and pay as the company expands.
Experience with ASE certifications or similar qualifications would be a plus, as would familiarity with various automotive systems and components. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication in a workshop environment, and you are committed to delivering high-quality service to customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring that they meet safety and performance standards. You will change brake pads, calipers, and rotors, as well as install tires and perform wheel alignments. You will work closely with other technicians to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, contributing to the overall efficiency of the Inspection Center. Your role will also involve maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and using tools and equipment responsibly. As you gain experience, you will have opportunities to take on more complex repairs and responsibilities within the team.
