Enviva is seeking a Pellet Mill Operator to operate and maintain pellet mills, ensuring optimal production quality. This role involves troubleshooting equipment and conducting quality control testing.
As a Pellet Mill Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining several pellet mills, ensuring optimal feed rates and monitoring pellet quality to meet company standards. You will assist in conducting quality control testing and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, ensuring a clean and safe work environment. You have a keen eye for detail and are committed to maintaining consistent production quality. You understand the importance of following workplace and job safety procedures and are dedicated to keeping equipment in good condition.
You are comfortable analyzing equipment performance and making necessary tooling and equipment changes to produce desired throughput and quality results. You have experience reviewing work order specifications or instructions to determine materials, ingredients, and procedures for producing pellets. You are skilled at adjusting machine components to regulate speed, pressure, and temperatures of machines, as well as the flow of materials and ingredients.
In this role, you will monitor machine operations and observe indicator lights and gauges to detect malfunctions. You will perform and document required inspections of equipment, ensuring that everything is functioning correctly. You will coordinate maintenance on equipment per job instructions and perform housekeeping to required standards. Your goal will be to maintain consistent production quality to the required standard while following all workplace safety procedures.
