Carvana is seeking an Auto Body Repair Technician to perform light bodywork including prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience and offers competitive wages and benefits.
You have at least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you are skilled in performing light bodywork tasks such as prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the demands of the job, including the possibility of mandatory overtime based on business needs. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
Experience with minor plastic welding and small area bodywork, including Bondo repair, is a plus. You are open to learning and growing your skills through training programs offered by Carvana, ensuring that your pay progresses along with your development.
In this role, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for repairs, which includes sanding and buffing to ensure a smooth finish. You will also be tasked with removing and installing bumpers as part of the repair process. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you perform minor plastic welding and small area bodywork to restore vehicles to their original condition. You will work with state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the company's mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
You will collaborate with your team to ensure that all repairs meet Carvana's high standards of quality and efficiency. As part of your role, you may be required to work overtime during peak times to meet customer demands.
