Program Manager, Risk & Compliance

You have a strong background in program management, ideally with experience in risk and compliance. Desirable

Experience in the grocery or e-commerce industry would be a plus, as would familiarity with regulatory compliance standards. You may have a background in legal or financial services, which would enhance your understanding of the compliance landscape. A certification in risk management or a related field would also be beneficial.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Enterprise Risk Management program at Instacart, partnering with various departments to ensure that risk considerations are integrated into all aspects of the business. You will work closely with Legal, Finance, Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Strategy teams to provide visibility into top risks and mitigation progress. Your role will involve developing and implementing risk management frameworks that align with the company's strategic objectives.

You will facilitate risk assessments and ensure that clear ownership is established for each identified risk. By providing leadership with insights into risk mitigation efforts, you will help the organization navigate challenges and make informed decisions. You will also be responsible for creating reports and presentations that communicate risk status and recommendations to senior management.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will need to engage with various stakeholders to foster a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization. You will organize training sessions and workshops to educate employees on risk management practices and encourage proactive risk identification.
