Microsoft is hiring a Senior Account Executive to lead contributions of the Account Team and drive cloud adoption strategies. You'll work closely with customers to identify and close strategic industry cloud opportunities. This role requires expertise in Azure and strong relationship management skills.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, with a focus on cloud solutions. Your experience includes identifying and managing strategic opportunities, ensuring alignment with customer business values and outcomes. You excel in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging insights from various teams to drive successful outcomes. You are adept at navigating complex sales processes and have a deep understanding of Microsoft’s cloud offerings, particularly Azure.
You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with customers and internal teams alike. Your ability to articulate the value of cloud solutions and drive intentional conversations about Microsoft Cloud adoption sets you apart. You are proactive in your approach, always seeking to understand customer needs and align them with the right solutions.
Experience in consulting or account management within the technology industry is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft’s go-to-market strategies and cloud services will enhance your effectiveness in this role. A background in enterprise sales or working with large accounts will be beneficial as you navigate complex organizational structures.
In this role, you will lead the contributions of the Account Team and the One Services team, driving both Unified Business and Industry Solution Delivery. You will own and maintain the services account planning contribution, ensuring alignment with the wider Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions account team. Your responsibilities will include leveraging insights from the sales account-delivery team to maintain awareness of project statuses and driving discussions around terms and conditions with customers.
You will proactively build and maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer needs and leverage Microsoft Consulting go-to-market scenarios to facilitate meaningful conversations about cloud adoption. Identifying, qualifying, leading, managing, and closing strategic industry cloud opportunities on prioritized accounts will be a key focus of your role. You will orchestrate the sales relationship with the core account team, collaborating closely with Enterprise colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement.
Your role will also involve gaining active contributions from others in building close plans for all qualified opportunities, ensuring that all leads and opportunities are linked to customer priorities in the account plan. You will maintain relationships with customers to secure formal signing of contracts, ensuring a smooth transition from opportunity to delivery.
