Who you are

You have a strong background in cloud operations and are excited about the mission of MongoDB. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are prepared to be part of a global team that operates 24/7. Your critical thinking skills allow you to quickly detect, resolve, or escalate issues that may arise in complex systems. You are comfortable with server administration duties and have experience in monitoring system alerts and reviewing critical events. You understand the importance of customer success and are dedicated to ensuring that every MongoDB Atlas customer has a seamless experience.

Desirable

Experience with cloud-native technologies and a passion for database systems are highly valued. Familiarity with performance troubleshooting and system log analysis will set you apart. You are eager to grow your career and skills while wearing multiple hats within the operations team.

What you'll do

As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational success of MongoDB Atlas. This includes creating and monitoring system alert dashboards, accessing customer instances, and performing server administration duties. You will review critical events and system logs to ensure that any issues are addressed promptly. Your role will involve collaborating with other team members to enhance the operational processes and improve customer satisfaction. You will also participate in a weekend support model, ensuring that our customers receive the support they need at all times.
