Overview

Samsara is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are comfortable engaging with mid-sized customers. You understand the nuances of selling to executives and CXOs, and you thrive in a role that requires building relationships and managing multiple stakeholders. You are results-driven and have experience negotiating complex deals, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of IoT solutions to potential clients. You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of a remote work environment while maintaining productivity and focus.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's Connected Operations™ Cloud to mid-market customers. You will engage with potential clients, conducting presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of IoT data. You will manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing, which includes conducting proof of concepts (POCs) and negotiating pricing. Your ability to build rapport with stakeholders will be crucial as you work to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly. You will also be expected to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and attend industry events, ensuring that you stay connected with the market and your customers.
