Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product design, particularly in creating user-friendly interfaces for complex systems. Your strong visual craft is complemented by a systems thinking approach, allowing you to design products that cater to both technical users and business analysts. You are proficient in Figma and have a solid understanding of user experience principles, ensuring that your designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and intuitive.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and product managers to bring your designs to life. Your ability to communicate design concepts clearly and effectively helps bridge the gap between design and development teams. You are passionate about user-centered design and continuously seek feedback to improve your work.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Designer at Databricks, you will own the design of the Lakeflow Connect ingestion experience, shaping how users discover, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot their data pipelines. Your role will involve defining the user journey from the initial setup to ongoing management, ensuring a seamless experience for both data engineers and business analysts.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in San Francisco and Seattle, ensuring that the design aligns with technical capabilities and business goals. You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform your design decisions.
