You'll work with major cloud data platforms like Snowflake, AWS, and Azure. This role requires a successful track record in territory development and complex sales cycles.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly in the technology sector, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your expertise in building and maintaining relationships with strategic partners is complemented by your ability to navigate complex sales cycles and develop effective territory strategies. You thrive in a remote-first environment and are comfortable working with teams across different regions, including the United States, Latin America, and India. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with decision-makers and champions within your territory.

Your background includes experience with major cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and GCP, which allows you to understand the technical aspects of the solutions you are selling. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform your sales strategies and decisions. You are also adept at team-based selling, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. You are passionate about fostering a culture of technological curiosity and ownership within your team, encouraging innovation and trust.

Desirable

Experience in the modern data stack and familiarity with tools like Fivetran, dbt, and Pinecone would be advantageous. You are a strategic thinker who can identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them. Your ability to mentor and guide junior sales team members is a plus, as you believe in building a strong team culture that supports growth and success.

What you'll do

As the Territory Director at phData, you will play a critical role in scaling our business by developing and executing territory development strategies. You will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring new customers while managing relationships with existing accounts.
