Airwallex is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager & MLRO to oversee compliance and regulatory matters in Malaysia. This role requires strong expertise in compliance management and a deep understanding of financial regulations.
You have extensive experience in compliance management, particularly within the financial services sector, and possess a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks. Your expertise allows you to navigate complex compliance landscapes effectively, ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant laws and regulations. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to identify potential compliance risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate compliance requirements clearly to stakeholders at all levels. You are proactive in staying updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices, ensuring that the organization remains compliant and competitive.
In this role, you will lead the compliance function for Airwallex in Malaysia, ensuring that all operations align with local and international regulations. You will develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, conducting regular audits to assess adherence and identify areas for improvement. You will serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, managing relationships and ensuring timely reporting and communication. Your responsibilities will include training staff on compliance matters, fostering a culture of compliance awareness across the organization. You will also collaborate with legal and risk management teams to address compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks. As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the compliance framework of the organization, contributing to its overall success and reputation in the financial industry.
