Microsoft is seeking a CE Spares Category Manager to oversee the sourcing and category management lifecycle for CE Spares across the EMEA region. This role requires strong strategic development and supplier management skills.
You have a strong background in supply chain management and procurement, with experience in category management and sourcing strategies. You understand the complexities of managing supplier relationships and have a proven track record of executing RFPs and contracts effectively. Your ability to assess supplier markets and develop strategies that align with organizational goals is key to your success in this role. Experience in the technology sector, particularly within cloud operations or data center environments, is a plus. Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier performance management will enhance your ability to excel in this position. In this role, you will own the full sourcing and category management lifecycle for CE Spares across the EMEA region. This includes developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with Microsoft’s operational goals. You will conduct supplier market assessments to identify potential partners and execute RFPs to ensure competitive pricing and quality. Contracting and onboarding new suppliers will be a critical part of your responsibilities, as will ongoing supplier performance management to ensure compliance with Microsoft’s standards.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the supply chain is flexible, efficient, and reliable. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to align on objectives and share insights on market trends and supplier performance. You will also be responsible for analyzing data to drive decision-making and improve procurement processes.
