Overview

Gravie is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Analyst to lead advanced analytics supporting Pharmacy strategy and execution. You'll generate data-driven insights to evaluate vendor performance and inform strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in healthcare analytics.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong analytical background with experience in healthcare analytics — you understand pharmacy cost drivers, utilization patterns, and clinical outcomes, and can translate complex data into actionable recommendations. You are skilled in conducting rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, synthesizing findings into clear insights and recommendations that improve member experience and clinical quality.

You are proficient in developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools that ensure accuracy and transparency in pharmacy data. You have experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize pharmacy performance, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills — you can convey complex information clearly to leadership and other stakeholders. You thrive in a high-performance, high-trust environment where your insights can drive significant impact.

Desirable

Experience with pharmacy benefit management (PBM) and vendor performance evaluation is a plus. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance will enhance your ability to contribute effectively in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead advanced analytics supporting Pharmacy strategy and execution for Gravie's level-funded business. You will be responsible for generating data-driven insights to evaluate PBM and pharmacy vendor performance, ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance. Your analytical expertise will play a critical role in understanding pharmacy cost drivers and utilization patterns.

You will conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis of the pharmacy offering, including utilization trends and clinical outcomes. Your findings will be synthesized into clear insights and actionable recommendations that improve member experience and financial performance. You will develop and maintain dashboards that translate complex pharmacy data into insights for leadership, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize the performance of Gravie's pharmacy offering. Your role will involve monitoring PBM performance against established metrics and providing insights that inform strategic decision-making. You will be expected to challenge the status quo and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance the pharmacy experience for members.
