Who you are

You have a strong background in the Indonesian language, with excellent written communication skills and a keen eye for grammatical accuracy. Your familiarity with cultural nuances in Indonesian allows you to evaluate language effectively, ensuring that AI-generated responses are not only accurate but also culturally relevant. While a background in teaching is preferred, it is not a strict requirement; what matters most is your ability to write and communicate clearly in Indonesian. You are comfortable with structured tasks, such as preference ranking and grammaticality checks, and you thrive in a flexible work environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute to an exciting language evaluation project by evaluating AI-generated responses for accuracy and cultural relevance. You will identify issues in these responses and provide refined, high-quality rewritten versions. Your tasks will also include creating natural prompts and responses in Indonesian to enhance conversational datasets. Collaboration with global teams will be essential as you work together to improve AI language models, ensuring they understand and generate Indonesian language more effectively. You will have the flexibility to work from home, committing approximately 20 hours per week to this freelance contract.

What we offer

This position offers a competitive rate of $25 USD per hour, with a commitment of around 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule. The project is set to start on January 16, 2026, and will last for four weeks. You will have the opportunity to work remotely from Indonesia, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments.
