Opendoor is seeking a Data Scientist to drive pricing strategies in residential real estate. You'll leverage data to build predictive models and dashboards, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong statistical reasoning and experience in machine learning.

Who you are

You have a strong background in data science with experience in pricing strategies — your expertise in statistical reasoning allows you to design and analyze experiments effectively. You are comfortable working with large datasets and have a solid understanding of causal inference and hypothesis testing. Your proficiency in Python and SQL enables you to build and maintain complex data models and dashboards that inform business decisions. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering with product, engineering, and operations teams to influence the pricing roadmap and model deployment. You are detail-oriented and can deliver insights that shape executive strategy, ensuring that your analyses directly impact the company's financial performance.
