Overview

Flex is seeking a Director of Sales Planning & Incentive Compensation to lead the design and management of compensation plans across revenue teams. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to align sales strategies with business objectives.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in sales planning and incentive compensation, ideally within a FinTech or similar industry. Your background includes working closely with HR, Finance, and Sales Leadership to create effective compensation structures that motivate sales teams and drive growth. You understand the importance of aligning seller behavior with business objectives and have a proven track record of optimizing payout structures for fairness and transparency. You are adept at managing cross-functional relationships and can navigate complex organizational dynamics to achieve results. You thrive in a high-impact role where your contributions directly influence company success and employee satisfaction. You are comfortable in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.

What you'll do

In this role, you will report to the VP of GTM Strategy & Operations and take ownership of sales planning and incentive compensation across all revenue teams. You will partner with HR Compensation, Finance, Sales Leadership, and RevOps to design, implement, and manage compensation plans that align with the company's growth objectives. Your work will involve creating a compensation architecture that ensures sales teams are motivated and rewarded fairly. You will analyze performance metrics to optimize compensation strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will also be responsible for developing communication strategies to ensure transparency around compensation plans and their impact on sales performance. Your role will be critical in aligning go-to-market execution with company goals, and you will play a key part in scaling the organization as it grows. You will lead initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of sales incentives and ensure that they drive the right behaviors among sales teams.
