What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at Hermeus, you will be a key player in the Mission Systems Engineering Team — your primary responsibility will be to design and implement the Mission Management System (MMS). This software platform is crucial for integrating mission subsystems, autonomy services, operator interfaces, communications links, and telemetry for our high-speed aircraft. You will work closely with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure that new capabilities can be rapidly incorporated into the MMS.

You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design through implementation and testing — your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of our aircraft systems. You will also participate in code reviews and collaborate with other engineers to maintain high standards of software quality and performance.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the team — sharing your knowledge and experience will help foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
