Overview

Carvana is seeking a Post-Production Auto Technician to perform extensive repairs and diagnostics on various vehicle makes and models. You'll utilize your automotive repair skills, including electrical systems and engine work, in Chesterfield, VA.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in automotive mechanics and a passion for vehicle maintenance. Your expertise includes performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work, as well as advanced vehicle diagnostics. You are comfortable working on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, showcasing your versatility in the field.

Your skills in repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues set you apart, as you understand the complexities of modern automotive systems. You are adept at installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, ensuring that vehicles are not only functional but also compliant with industry standards. You thrive in a high-tech environment and are eager to utilize state-of-the-art tools in your work.

You value continuous learning and are open to training programs that enhance your skills and career progression. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a culture of excellence at Carvana.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Post-Production Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing and repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will also be tasked with heavy engine work, which requires a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of automotive mechanics.

You will work closely with your team to ensure that all vehicles meet Carvana's high standards for quality and safety. This includes installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, as well as conducting comprehensive vehicle diagnostics to identify any potential issues before they become major problems.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor entry-level technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. You will also participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, ensuring that you remain at the forefront of the industry.
