SpaceX is hiring a Test Specialist (Starship Avionics) to build and maintain test systems for Starship launch and spacecraft systems. You'll work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure the integrity of flight hardware. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting and test procedures.
You have a strong background in testing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, ideally with experience in aerospace or similar industries. You are skilled in developing and documenting test procedures, ensuring that all tests are performed according to design requirements. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with engineers to provide feedback on test systems and procedures. You understand the importance of safety in high voltage testing environments and are adept at developing safety barriers and protocols. Your experience includes assisting in the design of test fixtures and setups, contributing to the qualification of flight hardware. You are detail-oriented and capable of summarizing and distributing test data to relevant stakeholders.
