Overview

Fivetran is seeking a Product Operations Manager to enhance internal systems for the Product organization. You'll focus on operational management, communication, and enablement structures. This role is based in Oakland with hybrid work flexibility.

Who you are

You have a strong background in product operations and enablement, with experience in managing internal systems that enhance organizational efficiency. You understand the importance of communication and collaboration within a product team, and you thrive in environments where you can bring order and predictability to processes. Your ability to design onboarding experiences ensures that new team members ramp up quickly and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

You possess excellent organizational skills and are adept at coordinating multiple programs and processes simultaneously. You have a knack for creating communication rhythms that keep teams aligned and informed, and you are comfortable using various tools to manage workflows and enhance productivity. Your experience in operations allows you to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.

You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys working at the intersection of operations, people enablement, and organizational strategy. You have a collaborative mindset and are skilled at building relationships across teams, ensuring that everyone is working towards common goals. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of a dynamic work environment, making you an asset to any team.

Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the operational heartbeat of the Product organization, bringing order, alignment, and predictability to how the department works together. You will coordinate and manage key department-wide programs and rituals, including All Hands meetings, business reviews, roadmap presentations, and department calendars. Your role will involve establishing communication channels and norms that foster collaboration and transparency within the team.

You will design and execute onboarding experiences that help new team members ramp quickly, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to succeed. Your focus will be on creating a welcoming and efficient onboarding process that integrates new hires into the team seamlessly.

You will also be responsible for managing software tools and systems that support the Product organization, ensuring that they are utilized effectively and that team members are trained on their use. Your ability to analyze processes and identify areas for improvement will be crucial in enhancing the overall efficiency of the team.
